He was born at Port Medway 21 December, 1850, and died three weeks before his 102nd birthday. Mr. Cohoon went to Ottawa in 1903 and worked in the Department of Finance until he retirement in 1933. He was married at Bonnie Bay, Newfoundland to Miss Fanny N. Taylor who died in 1937. Surviving are two sons, Aubrey A. and Norman E. of Ottawa; one daughter [Belle] Mrs. M.E. Curtis of Bath, Maine. The funeral was held privately at Chapel Radmore Stewart Funeral Home, Rev.S.S. Milliken of the United Church conducted the service. Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa."
