In his early manhood he moved to Morristown, where he has since made his home. Although in failing health, his death was unexpected, pneumonia being the immediate cause. He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Sarah Marshall of Margaretville, and the following children: Frederic, William, Ernest and Mrs. James Young, of Morristown; Ethelbert and Arthur of Boston, and Mrs. George Osgood of Florida; also twenty-five grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the church, and was very largely attended. The floral offerings being particularly beautiful. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Price of Somerset. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Wilbur McCoombs), Brooklyn, and Marie (Mrs. Ira Baker), Port Medway; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, six sisters and two brothers. Funeral was Wednesday in Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Port Medway, Rev.
