She met and married Henry while on a visit to her sister Susannah Clunas Kennedy[later Dupont], in Saskatchewan. Henry was younger that Ethel and she always called him "Baby". When I was a little girl, my grandmother took me to visit Uncle John in St. Thomas. He went into the bedroom and came out with a W.W.I gas mask on and nearly scared me to death. I thought that a big "ant" was coming to get me. This is the only recollection that I have of Uncle John Clunas. He worked his whole life for the railroad in St. Thomas.
