He had been suffering from heart disease and passed way after an attack. He came here a young man from New Ross and for some years was the keeper of the breakwater lighthouse. He was married three times, first to Miss Theodosia Lewis, then to Miss Effie Cohoon of this place. His last wife was Miss. Alice Conrad of Voglers Cove who died about a year ago. He is survived by two sons , Roy, who with his wife cared for his father and Albert of Cambridge, Massachusetts; also three daughters Irene, Mrs. Burton Vaughan, Mill Village, Maude, Mrs. Ernest Osborne Payzant, Port Medway, and Jennie, Mrs. Arthur Albertus Payzant of Liverpool. He was predeceased by five daughters, Louise; Laura May, Laura Effie, Lona Agnes, and Breta Beryl, all in infancy. The funeral will be on Friday afternoon. The services will be conducted by the Rev.
