Liverpool Advance - December 6, 1945

The death of Alice Adena Hirtle, wife of Delbert A. Hirtle, occured at her home, November 26th, after a brief illness of six weeks. Mrs. Hirtle was 77 years and 10 months of age and was born at Northfield, Lunenburg County. She was a member of the Anglican Church where she attended whenever possible and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, nine children, seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also one sister and one brother. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. H. Barber.
